Nothing but Possibilities...

I started this blog in 2007 and continued sharing life and scrapbooking until mid 2014 when life kept me from posting regularly.  I remember when I realized it had been a month since my last post and how sad it made me that the blog era had come to an end.  Facebook and Instagram had taken over and blogs were "old school".  I found myself looking through the old posts over the next few years and reminiscing about the stories shared, the art posted, and the products advertised.  It was a labor of love and I found myself missing the result, but not missing the time required.  Fast forward to now.
I've been out of the scrapbooking industry for 2 years now, "retired" from work for about 6 months, and completely finished with homeschooling after 25 years.  I decided to visit the old blog.  Sadly, due to an old FLICKR account and old blogspot issues, the majority of the photos from those 7 years are not available to view on the blog.  I still have the stories, but the photos have disappeared. Instead of leaving those posts up, I've archived them and here we are...starting fresh!
So much has changed.  The kids are all grown up, degrees have been earned, careers have been planned and started, weddings have taken place and grandbabies have arrived.  So far, SEVEN, to be exact.  They are the light of my life and my time with them is precious and priceless.  I'm thankful for cellphone pictures that just show up in my inbox.  My girls really know how to make me happy.
I'm excited to update you over the next few weeks as I get back into regular blogging.

Let's start with some basic updates!

River @ 4.5yo and Rollo @ 1.5yo
Thunder @ 2.5yo
Meet the HOLMESPACK. River, Rollo and Thunder are my ever present companions.  River is the ultimate protector and Rollo...well, Rollo is Rollo.  He is a sweet boy and my special needs companion...his special needs and mine.  He is an amazing comfort at every turn and I can't imagine life without him.  Thunder is a cat and of course, acts like he doesn't need anyone.  But he can be found curled up between us in bed every night and lately, nosing up to Rollo.

Ignore the makeshift cone...it was late Sunday and he had a hotspot on his hip that he was messing with.  These three keep me company all day since these days I'm home alone.  After years of all the kids here all day schooling, the silence can by heavenly and lonely all at the same time.  Don't get me wrong, I'm loving this season of my life. Nothing but possibilities.
